If there are any perks to the mid-July heat, it’s that the summer vegetable season is in full swing! For #TravelTuesday I thought I’d give you guys a peek at one of Athens’ many outdoor markets, which should have your stomach rumbling just about year round. Whether you’re just there for a look around or being guided through our excellent foodie tour of central Athens, the wonderfully bright sights and smells of all the local vendors selling their goods will stay with you even as you sit in your kitchen back home. One of these markets is a must-visit for, well, anybody who likes food, and I never fail to find something new and delicious no matter how many times I tour the stands and stalls.
